Jiu-Jitsu offers many methods of fighting while on ones back, which is a position that a person is likely to find themselves in when attacked. Before a fight is started, BJJ will help the ability to avoid contact with confidence and awareness. Not only is Jiu-Jitsu good for self-defense from mental and physical benefits as well as coordination, strategy, respect, flexibility, and weight loss.
We are a proud affiliate of the Checkmat Team, which is one of the largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu families in the world started by the legend Léo Vieira.

We offer kids, teens, and adult classes for skill levels ranging from beginners, enthusiasts to advanced students. Kids can start as early as 6 years old. We train in both Gi and NoGi BJJ uniforms throughout the week. Classes are great for self defense, sports, confidence building, self-esteem, bully proofing, flexibility and overall phys

Whether you have trained for years or have no experience at all, come give us a try! Monday through Friday we will be here ready to answer any questions. Set up a time to speak with Master Leo one-on-one and see the gym in person for your trial class. Bring the whole family because we have a spot for everyone here.

Our competition team trains to compete at tournaments held by organizations such as IBJJF, NAGA, and Newbreed. We have kids, teens, and adults who compete every year. Taught by seasoned athlete Léo Silveira who has traveled around the world (14 countries) all through BJJ sponsorship. Nothing is out of your reach! Competition is for anyone
